PM Discusses Progress of Capitalism Linked to Socio-economic Development

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen remarked on the growth of the private sector during the graduation ceremony for students of Vanda Institute on Monday morning, 3 October, and said that this growth has provided progress to society and economy, helping develop Cambodia’s human resources.

Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the growth of the private sector has created jobs for Cambodians and private companies have also made progress that contributes to society and the economy, including the payment of taxes to the state.

"The private sector grows; it contributes to the society and economy,” he said.

The Prime Minister also made reference to the Marxist theory of Lenin, who stated that the capitalist class needs workers for their growth, and the workers also need capitalists to grow.
